Take lessons with Annabelle
Annabelle’s strength as a teacher lies in facilitating growth in a student’s ability to self-express, and fostering a sense of curiosity towards the learning process.
Annabelle Freedman has over 15 years experience teaching voice, violin and recently started teaching music production, performance, songwriting, and more with students' age ranging from 3 to 89. Although they primarily focus on private lessons currently, they have created group workshops on topics including, sound's relationship to architecture and movement, vocal harmonies, and improvisation. From 2012-2015, Annabelle taught multiple visual art disciplines from fine arts to public mural work in large group settings. They have worked one-on-one with disability access programs as well as with educating unhoused people in visual expression from concept to creating artwork in public spaces.

***Slant rate is an inclusive payment method in which each student is able to select a price option that works best for their current financial situation. Regardless of the price chosen, there is no change in the service offered. So if you select $70 for an hour long lesson or $110, there is no difference in the lesson itself, or your prioritization of lesson times.
There are no "perks" to paying a higher price, but if you are able to pay more, you are encouraged to do so, as the higher tier lesson prices balance out the lower lesson prices so that the teacher will not have to raise rates for all students to account for inflation and other increasing expenses.

Student Testimonies
"Absolutely loved my lesson with Annabelle! They were so patient, warm and encouraging and I did not feel intimidated returning to the violin at all. I have homework to practice and I cannot wait for my next lesson!"
- Elizabeth (32)
"Time flies by too quickly with Annabelle. I was afraid to sing in front of someone at first but Annabelle made me feel comfortable enough to share. Cannot wait for our next lesson."
- Andrew (57)
"I'm so glad we found Annabelle. She is amazing with both of my kids - one child has more experience than the other with the violin and she excellently taught to their skill levels. Both of my kids really liked the teaching style - she made them fell that they can do it and now they are both excited to practice. Win all around!"
- Sujad (7 and 11)
