Music is a language that everyone deserves access to.

Annabelle Freedman is a one on one voice, violin, and music production educator facilitating expressive connection that centers beginners of all ages. With 15 years of experience teaching adaptive learning methods, Annabelle’s strength as a teacher lies in facilitating growth in a student’s ability to self-express, centering the connective aspects of music learning, and fostering a sense of curiosity towards the learning process itself.

As a recording, performing, and music artist, Annabelle brings their own relationship to music creation and music community building to the table in a way that prioritizes longevity of connection with the craft and with other creators rather than simply sharing skills without context.  They also coach many students through their own process with writing, recording, releasing, performance, and collaboration.

***Slant rate is an inclusive payment method in which each student is able to select a price option that works best for their current financial situation.  Regardless of the price chosen, there is no change in the service offered.  So if you select $70 for an hour long lesson or $110, there is no difference in the lesson itself, or your prioritization of lesson times.

There are no "perks" to paying a higher price tier, but if you are able to pay more, you are encouraged to do so, as the higher tier lesson prices balance out the lower lesson prices so that the teacher will not have to raise rates for all students to account for inflation and other increasing expenses.

Student Testimonies

"Absolutely loved my lesson with Annabelle!  They were so patient, warm and encouraging and I did not feel intimidated returning to the violin at all.  I have homework to practice and I cannot wait for my next lesson!"

- Elizabeth (32)

"Time flies by too quickly with Annabelle. I was afraid to sing in front of someone at first but Annabelle made me feel comfortable enough to share. Cannot wait for our next lesson."

- Andrew (57)

"I'm so glad we found Annabelle. She is amazing with both of my kids - one child has more experience than the other with the violin and she excellently taught to their skill levels.  Both of my kids really liked the teaching style - she made them fell that they can do it and now they are both excited to practice.  Win all around!"

- Sujad (7 and 11)
